10 artistas jóvenes (9 mujeres y un hombre) presentan Advaita, una exposición en la Casa Q para conversar por medio de ilustración, pintura y foto sobre géneros, el cuerpo y la inclusión.
Advaita, en la filosofía hindú se refiere a la no dualidad, a la creencia de que lo divino y las almas son una unidad. La exposición se enfoca en retomar y contextualizar esta filosofía cuestionando temas de diversidad en la sociedad, así como la unión de la mente y el cuerpo.
Los artistas que participan son: María Conejo, Marina Silva, Maremoto, Helena Vólkova, Tabata Roja, Bi Vera Ortíz (Victoria Vera), Pedre Alfonso, Paulina L.c, Victoria Barmak y Citlali Haro.

La galería Patricia Conde invita a la inauguración de la retrospectiva del fotógrafo Adam Wiseman, curada por Iván Ruiz, que será una selección concentrada de sus 20 años de trayectoria; una forma de conocer de golpe la evolución de este excepcional fotógrafo.
La exposición va desde la serie Subway con imágenes en blanco y negro tomadas durante los 90 en el metro de NY con una Hasselblad panorámica, hasta su obra más reciente, aún en progreso, titulada Arquitectura libre, que explora el fenómeno de la construcción contemporánea de remesas y la fantasía mexicana.

Este fin de semana se llevará a cabo la primera edición de CARPA, un evento multicultural en la Santa María la Ribera que combina lo mejor del barrio con proyectos de arte, diseño y arquitectura.
El más reciente proyecto de BAAQ, un edificio de 1963 que solía funcionar como fábrica textil ubicado en Dr. Atl 285, será la sede y el evento estará curado por T Huxley. Prepárate para escuchar historias que reinterpreten una de las colonias más antiguas y hermosas de la ciudad.
Dentro de las actividades de CARPA, 20 artistas van a intervenir un edificio en obra, habrá teatro y performance, proyecciones, instalaciones y exposiciones. Dentro de los proyectos que participan están ASCO, Guadalajara 90210, Colectivo Salamandra, Carlos Álvarez Montero, Canana y Huerto Roma Verde.

Abraham Cruzvillegas inauguró Autorrecostrucción: Detritus, una exposición que se nutrió de la retroalimentación entre artistas, estudiantes, científicos y académicos de la UNAM, que plantea uno de los problemas vigentes de la sociedad de consumo: el manejo de la basura.
Autorreconstruicción: Detritus consiste en un muro inconcluso que Cruzvillegas creó con basura en la Reserva Ecológica del Pedregal de San Ángel y el MUCA se convertirá en un taller artístico vivo donde distintos artistas mexicanos van a interactuar con la pieza durante diversos eventos culturales.
